Halo developer knows what’s wrong and are fixing it

Developer 343 Industries has just updated its list of known issues for Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The studio is currently working to fix these issues, but the developer also said that it’s now focusing on Halo 3 on PC first before fixing the known issues.

343 has explained on their blog post in saying, “The scope and implications of these issues vary greatly, so while some may see good movement in a given month, others may not.” The list of known issues is all due to “performance issues” for the games Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, and Halo 3.

Additionally, the studio also is aware of the pistol spread for Halo: Combat Evolved. A preliminary fix has been released, but the developer will still track more issues that keep persisting. 343 also is aware of the various audio and stuttering issues while the studio is looking into mouse input problems. The complete rundown will be posted here below.

New features are also in development

For the Progression System, it will include Challenges soon, and Halo 2 is progressing nicely. UI/UX Improvements in regards to navigation, roster, customization, and many more. Double Key Binds will be supported in Halo: Reach soon. View Model Adjustments, Steam Account Linking, In-Game FPS Cap, and Customization Improvements are coming your way.

There will be additional mod support allowed in all games, text chat improvements, more video settings in the Options menu, custom game browser, input-based Matchmaking, regional server selection, cross-play between Xbox and PC, and improved ways to report players were all added recently in the game.
