For the final week, the GO Fest weekly challenges focus on friendships.

Pokemon GO Fest 2020 Weekly Themed Challenge

According to Polygon, the final week of challenges will start this July 17 and will end on July 22, just a few days before the start of the Pokemon GO Fest 2020 that will occur on July 25 and 26 where everyone around the world can take part in as long as they buy the ticket for the two-day event.

Along with the new tasks, Pokemon GO players will also be able to capture Pikachu in sunglasses as they will also spawn more, along with Slowpoke, Oddish, Castform, Bellsprout, Hippopotas, Tangela, Krabby, and Wingull.

Additionally, Petilil will be spawning for the first time in the history of the game.

You may also get a Shiny Bellsprout and its entire evolution time, so keep an eye out for a golden Bellsprout.

As with the past weeks, if one million Pokemon GO players from each time finish the three sets of tasks and the Elite set this week, more Pokemon will be spawning during GO Fest, with Team Valor unlocking Litwick, Instinct unlocking Togetic, and Mystic unlocking Dratini.

GO Fest 2020 Ticket Price

For those who haven’t yet bought their GO Fest 2020 ticket, it is available via the game’s in-app store, which is available $14.99–quite pricey but ticket-holders could already join for two days of festivities and can get various bonuses.

Moreover, Niantic Labs has announced that they would be donating all the proceeds to their black developers and the BLM organizations.

This is also the first time players from around the world can take part in the Fest in the comfort of their homes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
